Tribute to Mackintosh – Cuckoo

Mackintosh began painting floral watercolors and textile decorations, during a holiday in Suffolk. The Cuckoo bird Mackintosh painted is reinterpreted on this bookmark. The many colors of the painting are shown in contrasting silver oxidation and gold-plating tones.

This bookmark, made in 925/1000 silver, measures 200 x 44 mm (~7.9“ x 1.73“) and weights about 43 g (~1.52 oz). Since these objects are handmade, slight differences will occur from one piece to the next. Cut and engraved entirely by hand, finished with gold plating and chemical browning.
