Tribute to Mackintosh – Borage

We couldn’t reproduce the Borage’s electric blue tones in silver, so we conjured an idea of it with various satin finishings and iridescent blue-brown oxidation tones. The shading and natural differences in the material are visible as light hits the bookmark from different angles.

This bookmark, made in 925/1000 silver, measures 200 x 46 mm (~7.9“ x 1.81“) and weights about 48 g (~1.7 oz). Since these objects are handmade, slight differences will occur from one piece to the next. Cut and engraved entirely by hand, finished with gold plating and chemical browning.
