Iris – Peonies – Sparrow – Dragonfly

We couldn’t help but pay homage to Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) with bookmarks that were inspired by his creations. His subjects are dynamic and painstakingly detailed – we wanted to recreate the harmony this work exudes in our silver medium.

This bookmark, made in 925/1000 silver, measures 200 x 47 mm (~7.9“ x 1.85“) and weights about 38 g (~1.34 oz). Since these objects are handmade, slight differences will occur from one piece to the next. Cut and engraved entirely by hand, finished with gold plating and chemical browning.
