Japanese Dragon

We were inspired by the evocative power of this Meiji period dragon (1868-1912) to create this elaborate bookmark that brings to mind the fascinating iconography of the Far East.

This bookmark, made in 925/1000 silver, measures 200 x 47 mm (~7.9“ x 1.85“) and weights about 59 g (~2.08 oz). Since these objects are handmade, slight differences will occur from one piece to the next. Cut and engraved entirely by hand, finished with gold plating and chemical browning.
