The intrusive strength of the magnetic stare that seems to follow you, remind us of the unfortunate artist Van Gogh’s masterpiece; the characteristic brushstrokes are translated into vibrant engravings in the silver. Tones and colors are interpreted in overtone patinas on the metal surface.
This bookmark, made in 925/1000 silver, measures 200 x 47 mm (~7.9“ x 1.85“) and weights about 57 g (~2.01 oz). Since these objects are handmade, slight differences will occur from one piece to the next. Cut and engraved entirely by hand, finished with gold plating and chemical browning.
